Trump again trying to silence Stormy Daniels with another hush money deal? Adult actor says this

Adult film star Stormy Daniels alleged that her reach on X might have been reduced amid reports that claimed that former president Donald Trump is trying to reach another hush money deal with the actor to silence her ahead of the 2024 presidential election. According to an MSNBC report Donald Trump's attorneys allegedly sent Daniels an offer where the amount she owed him over a defamation suit would be lowered is she agreed not to make "defamatory or disparaging statements" about him.

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow procured calls, documents and emails about the deal. “Twenty days before this election, we can report that he is once again trying to pay Stormy Daniels to be quiet,” she said in a special broadcast on Wednesday evening.

What is 2016 and 2024's hush money deal? Who is Stormy Daniels?

Donald Trump had an affair with Stormy Daniels soon after Barron Trump was born around 2006. 10 years later, as Donald Trump was running for the presidential election, his then-attorney and fixer Michael Cohen paid Daniels $130,000 hush money payment in order to silence her. Trump was found guilty on 34 felony counts and he tampered business records over that hush payment. Stormy testified against him. Donald Trump's sentencing was originally scheduled for September 18 but is now expected to take place on November 26 -- after the election.

Apart from this case, Daniels also sued Trump for defamation in 2018 and she lost. She was ordered to pay Trump's legal fees.

Trump's lawyers have been in connection with Daniels throughout and a recent letter sent in July, obtained by MSNBC, said Trump's side can agree to settle that fee for $620,000 provided Daniels agrees in writing to make no public or private statement on Trump -- otherwise the amount will not be enough.

Journalist Maddow said this time Trump and his attorney were planning to launder the new hush money payment to Stormy Daniels through the payment of a legal judgment. “They would pretend that Stormy Daniels owed less money to Trump than they actually believed she owed if she also signed an agreement to not talk about Trump,” she explained.
