BALLIA : Twenty-nine passengers were injured after a private bus carrying personnel of Bihar Special Arms Police fell into roadside ditch here, said the police on Wednesday.
Superintendent of Police Vikrant Vir confirmed the details, stating, “A bus, carrying E Company of the 18th Battalion, lost control near the Chand Diyar petrol pump around 12:30 AM on Tuesday and fell into a roadside ditch.”
Ten injured soldiers are now at the district hospital and the other 19 are receiving care at the Community Health Center in Sonbarsa, Bairia. All the injured personnel are reported to be in stable condition.
The SP visited the district hospital to check on the injured soldiers and spoke with the doctors.
