BENGALURU: ' Bharat Mata Ki Jai ' only leads to harmony , not discord, Karnataka HC observed while accepting plea of five sloganeers to quash a case of promoting enmity among religions in Mangaluru.
The petitioners celebrating Narendra Modi 's swearing-in as PM for third term were allegedly attacked by 25 people for raising the slogan.
"Permitting even investigation into the case would be prima facie permitting investigation into sloganeering of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' inter alia, which can by no stretch of imagination be promoting disharmony or enmity among religions," HC said.
