Apple CEO Tim Cook took to social media to extend his wishes for Eid , a festival that marks the end of Ramadan with prayers, celebrations, and acts of charity. “Sending everyone celebrating Eid al-Fitr around the world wishes of health and happiness. Eid Mubarak!,” Cook wrote in an X post.

Known for his inclusive approach, Cook regularly posts greetings for global festivals, including Diwali, Christmas, and Hanukkah. His message reflects Apple 's broader commitment to diversity and cultural recognition, values the company has upheld despite shifts in the corporate landscape. Unlike some other major tech firms, Apple has remained steadfast in its DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) policies even after Donald Trump took office as U.S. president in January 2025.

Beyond leadership statements, Apple consistently recognizes major religious and cultural celebrations through its platforms. The company often curates special content in the App Store, highlighting apps, music, and other media related to events like Ramadan and Eid, reinforcing its commitment to inclusivity and global engagement.

Earlier this month, Cook shared a colorful photo taken on an iPhone, capturing the festive spirit. The post featured a vibrant image by photographer Kushagra Tiwari. In the X post, Cook wrote, “Happy Holi to all those celebrating! May it be as joyous and fun as Kushagra Tiwari’s beautiful #ShotOniPhone photo.” The image was part of Apple’s #ShotOniPhone campaign, which promotes creative photography with iPhones.
