How to complete the Phasmophobia Cursed Hollow Easter Event?

Send Push
If you’ve booted up Phasmophobia recently, you’ve probably noticed the creepy forest makeover and spooky little surprises waiting for you. Yep, it’s that time again — the Cursed Hollow Easter Event is here! Running from April 17 to May 1, this limited-time event offers a chilling seasonal twist and some awesome rewards for players who take on the forest's haunted secrets. Here’s how to complete the event fast and easy.

Step 1: Play on the Right MapsWhen you load into Phasmophobia, head to the main menu map board. Look for maps marked with a leafy nest icon—those are your Cursed Hollow-eligible locations. Only these maps count toward event progress.

There are 9 maps total in rotation:
  • 13 Willow Street
  • 6 Tanglewood Drive
  • 10 Ridgeview Court
  • 42 Edgefield Road
  • Grafton Farmhouse
  • Bleasdale Farmhouse
  • Point Hope
  • Camp Woodwind
  • Maple Lodge Campsite
  • To finish the Cursed Hollow event, your focus should be on three main tasks:
    • Identify the Correct Ghost
    • Complete Optional Objectives
    • Find and Reveal Any Forest Minions
Step 2: Identify the Correct GhostYou need to collect three pieces of ghost evidence to confirm the type of ghost haunting your map. Here’s what you need to do:
  • Use your EMF Reader, Spirit Box, UV Light, Thermometer, Ghost Writing Book, and DOTS Projector efficiently to collect three different types of evidence.
  • As you gather evidence, open your journal and tick off what you’ve found. Once you have three confirmed pieces, the game will highlight the correct ghost type.
  • Tips:
    • Know your ghost behavior. For example, Mimics fake ghost orbs and Wraiths don’t leave salt footprints.
    • Use cross-checks. If you're stuck between two ghosts, test their unique behaviors instead of randomly guessing.
Step 3: Complete Optional ObjectivesNext, focus on those bonus goals on the truck’s corkboard. You’ll get three randomized objectives per contract. These can be things like:

    • “Cleans the area near the ghost using Incense”
    • “Have a member of your team witness a ghost event”
    • “Detect a ghost presence using a Motion Sensor”
    Tips:
    • Prioritize the easier ones if you’re short on time or sanity.
    • Stock up on gear like lighters, smudge sticks, and cameras before starting.
    • Try doing them before the ghost starts hunting, especially on higher difficulties.
Each completed optional task adds progress to your event completion bar. Even if you mess up the ghost ID, these can still save your run.

Step 4: Find and Reveal Any Forest MinionsEach featured map contains Forest Minion nests. These are small piles of twigs and cracked eggs, often hiding in corners or tucked behind furniture.

    To reveal a minion:

  • Place or shine a DOTS Projector near the nest
  • If there’s a Minion hiding inside, the projector will reveal it.
  • Repeat across all nests you find.
  • Warning:
    • Disturbing these nests may anger the Forest Spirit, increasing paranormal activity.
    • So maybe don’t stand too close once you place your DOTS projector.
Find a few Minions? Great. Found all of them on a map? Even better. Keep doing this each game until you hit the required count for the event.
Quick Tips to Finish the Event Faster
    • Play with friends: Cover more ground, split up to find nests, and ID ghosts quicker.
    • Use DOTS Projectors early: You’ll need them for both ghost evidence and Forest Minions.
    • Check every corner: Jackalope totems and minions love hiding behind doors, beds, and furniture.
    • Don’t skip optional tasks: They’re easy event points!
    • Watch out for cursed effects: Some totems or minions may mess with your gear or trigger hunts.
Final ThoughtsThe Cursed Hollow Easter Event in Phasmophobia is a creepy, fun, and reward-packed way to shake up your usual ghost-hunting sessions. With just a bit of coordination and curiosity, you’ll breeze through it — and walk away with some exclusive goodies and bragging rights. So grab your gear, light that incense, and get hunting. The forest is calling.
