Back in 2011, Carlee shared about her experience at FHS with Fox Sports, “The biggest thing I learned at OU is that it’s not what everybody else thinks that matters. It’s what you believe in as a team, as yourselves, and as a program that you know that you can accomplish because you know when people believing in us, the media is believing in us hasn’t gotten too far on the floor.”

In March 2010, when Carlee was playing for the Oklahoma Sooners, her brother, Ben Roethlisberger, was accused of sexual assault by a 21-year-old college student. A Nevada woman filed a civil suit alleging the same accusation against Big Ben. Carlee talked about her brother Ben with The Oklahoman, “There’s only so much you can do. I can’t let it get to me emotionally. I have a team, my second family. If there’s something I need to know, my brother or parents let me know. We just keep in touch to know he’s okay. From there, it’s school and basketball.”
Antonio Brown @AB84 believes black and white NFL players are not treated equally by the media, fans, or the league. He pointed to Ben Roethlisberger (sexual-assault allegations) and Michael Vick (dogfighting) as an example. pic.twitter.com/kUVz4HTMda
