On the occasion of World Dance Day this year, city-based Odissi dancer Laavanya Ghosh’s dance school and studio is all set to present Nritya – Season 2 on April 30 , as a heartfelt tribute to the late Guru Poushali Mukherjee, whose legacy continues to inspire dancers and enthusiasts alike.
The evening promises a rich blend of mesmerising solo, duo, and group performances by the talented disciples of Hamshadhwani Dance School & Studio, as they bring to life the timeless Odissi compositions of Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra and the late Guru Poushali Mukherjee. Alongside these traditional pieces, there will be semi-classical presentations curated and choreographed by Laavanya Ghosh, showcasing her signature style that blends creativity with tradition.
