Anupam took to Instagram to share a heartfelt video condemning the horrific attack in Pahalgam. Overcome with emotion, he expressed his helplessness through tears. Alongside the clip, he wrote in Hindi, “ग़लत … ग़लत… ग़लत !!! पहलगाम हत्याकांड!! शब्द आज नपुंसक हैं!!".

In the video statement, Kher said, “Aaj jo Pahalgam mein Hindus ke sath narsanhar hua hai jo 27 Hindus ko maara gaya hai chun chun kar ussey mann mein dukh toh hai hi lekin krodh aur gusse ki intehaan ki koi seema nahi hai…" Recalling his past experiences, he said, “Maine bahut zindagi mein ye sab dekha hai Kashmiri Hindus ke sath aise hote hue Kashmir mein aur Kashmir Files ussi ki halki si ek kahani thi jissey kaafi saare logon ne propaganda bola tha… Kabhi kabhi jo shabd hai wo adhoore aur napunsak mehsoos karte hai jo aap mehsoos kar rahe hote hai".

Details of the Terror Attack

According to reports, the terror attack occurred in the Baisaran meadows near Pahalgam, a popular tourist spot in Jammu and Kashmir. Militants, reportedly dressed in military fatigues, opened fire indiscriminately on tourists, including families and foreign visitors, resulting in at least several deaths and numerous injuries. Eyewitnesses described how the attackers emerged from the woods and targeted tourists enjoying horseback rides in the scenic meadow. The attack took place amid Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Saudi Arabia and US Vice President JD Vance’s ongoing tour of India.
