Nagpur: As JEE-Main results were declared on Saturday, city's Shreeyal Singh emerged as the probable topper from Vidarbha with AIR 609. As National Testing Agency (NTA), the exam-conducting body, does not release city-wise rankings, all toppers list is determined through information provided by coaching institutes or schools and junior colleges.

The probable second topper from Vidarbha is Syed Atif with AIR 611, while the third spot is secured by Imas Asad with AIR 638.

Singh, a student of Seva Sadan School, said, "I am extremely delighted with the result, but now am focusing on JEE-Advanced. My preference after the advanced exam will be for IIT-Bombay."

The same institute is also the preferred one for Atif, a student of Indian Olympiad School. "I want to pursue computer science. Though my preference is computer science, I'm interested in research too. I'm still not crystal clear about my career goals," Atif said.

His schoolmate, Asad too is hoping to score well in JEE-Advanced to secure a spot in IIT-Bombay. "I do hope that I can get a seat in that institute," said Asad. All the three toppers attended the same coaching institute in Nagpur.

JEE-Main 2025 examination was held in two phases — Session 1 during January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, while the second phase, Session 2 from April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8.
