As rumors about Robert F Kennedy Jr having an extra-martial affair with The New York magazine reporter Olivia Nuzzi surfaced, The New York Post revealed that the latter was 'obsessed' with the independent presidential candidate and 'agressively pursued' him for days. This comes after both RFK Jr and Nuzzi denied having an affair, with the former Democrat saying he met the reporter only once. Nuzzi was placed on leave by The New York magazine, while a 'third-party review' is being conducted. The publication said that the reporter disclosed that she 'had engaged in a personal relationship with a former subject relevant to the 2024 campaign while she was reporting on the campaign'. "Earlier this year, the nature of some communication between myself and a former reporting subject turned personal. During that time, I did not directly report on the subject nor use them as a source. The relationship was never physical but should have been disclosed to prevent the appearance of a conflict. I deeply regret not doing so immediately and apologize to those I’ve disappointed, especially my colleagues at New York," she said.
