American Pickers fame and TV host Frank Fritz passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024. He was 60. Fritz's close friend Mike Wolfe broke this sad news on his social media handle. The post on Instagram read, "It's with a broken heart that I share with all of you that Frank passed away last night." He further wrote, "We've been on countless trips and shared so many miles and I feel blessed that I was there by his side when he took one last journey home. I love you buddy and will miss you so much I know you're in a better place."Frank Fritz rose to fame with a show named American Pickers that aired on the History Channel in 2010 and has released 25 seasons. Fritz co- hosted the show for 20 seasons straight before experiencing health problems. Moreover, his screen presence slowly decreased for some time after he had an argument with his co host Mike Wolfe. Although they patched things up later, Fritz's health problems lingered on and he had to take a break from the show. Besides his outstanding work in American Pickers, Fritz also worked partly in other shows such as American Dad (2017) and Pawn Stars (2009). Frank Fritz's cause of death is not known yet, but sources say that his death was due to the side effects of his heart attack that he suffered in the year 2022. Robert Wolfe, Mike's brother also extended his condolences to Fritz and his family. Alongside, Jon Szalay, a common friend of Wolfe and Fritz also paid tribute to Frank Fritz on his passing. Frank was diagnosed with serious health conditions like Crohn's disease before he died in September, 2024.
