Afghanistan have finally done it. The Rashid Khan-led side defeated South Africa by 117 runs in the second ODI in Sharjah. With this win, Afghanistan have also grabbed their first bilateral ODI series win over South Africa in their cricket history. They already were 1-0 ahead in the three match ODI series and have now grabbed a historic win to stamp their authority once again in the limited over format.Batting first, riding on Rahmanullah Gurbaz's 7th ODI century, Afghanistan put up a massive 311 runs on the board. The Proteas could only manage 134 runs as they surrendered to Rashid Khan's spin web. The leg spinner had another five wicket haul as Afghanistan continued to enthrall people with their exciting brand of cricket.Rashid said, “I had a hamstring (injury), but I tried my best to stay on the ground and do my best for the team.“It was a great opportunity for us to win the series against a big team … I really enjoy youngsters like Kharote and (Allah) Ghazanfar, we share ideas with them.
