A TalkTV guest exploded at Keir Starmer and the Labour Government in a brutal rant. It comes after several people were reportedly detained by police amid the protest at the Britannia International in Canary Wharf today. Police made six arrests during protests as "Pink Lady" anti-migrant demonstrators descended on the east London hotel, which is housing asylum seekers. It is believed some protestors were holding banners which read: "We're not far right but we're not far wrong. Don't gamble with our lives. Stop the boats." Some individuals, said to be local mothers, set off pink flares and were waving England flags. The hotel has been the centre of anti-migrant protests in recent weeks.
Speaking about the demonstrations, Robert Bates says the Labour Government is "silent" on the illegal immigration crisis and "luxury" hotels being occupied by asylum seekers.
He also ranted: "Many communities that were once safe places where you could keep your door open are now feeling a real sense of unease. There are a tiny number of politicians who are actually prepared to talk about this.
"The fact that the Labour Government and people who are making the decisions for the better of the British public are completely silent on this is the reason why Labour will and do deserve to lose the next general election."
Yesterday on GB News, a guest argued the UK could learn from President Trump's success in stopping the flow of illegal immigration.
Nile Gardiner spoke to GB News anchor Ben Leo over the latest Trump and Putin peace talks. Speaking live from Washington, Nile had his say after the White House claimed that for a third month running, 'zero illegal migrants' have made it into the United States. Ben asked him: "What can we learn in the United Kingdom here? Do you have any faith in our political leaders? Should they bother asking Donald Trump for advice?"
Nile replied: "Well, I have zero faith in Keir Starmer. He's been absolutely useless, I think, in terms of securing Britain's border - in fact, it's a lot worse under the Labour Government. In contrast, here in the United States, we have zero illegal migration now thanks to President Trump."
