The Danish royal household has about and royal fans went wild after a series of new images and a video of him were released. and 's son and heir to the Danish throne was made a Guards Hussar on Thursday after completing a traditional four-day REX tour last week - a "demanding" military exercise with his regiment in Slagelse, a town in Denmark.
The 19-year-old, who has been carrying out his military training at the Antvorskov barracks since February, will now enrol on a new course which will start this summer. A statement released on Monday read: "The Crown Prince is now a Guards Hussar. In connection with serving his military service at the Guards Hussar Regiment, the Crown Prince has now also been admitted to the Lieutenant's Training Course.
"The training will start in early August 2025 and will last one year, plus a subsequent period of practical service as a platoon leader.
"The Crown Prince will complete his ongoing military service at the Guards Hussar Regiment at the end of May."
Christian's military exercise consisted of two phases - one focused on readiness and monitoring, while the second one tested task solving in difficult conditions.
The Danish Crown Prince marched about 31 miles (50km), and the group's exercise was completed in one try and with "very limited sleep".
At the end of it, last Thursday, Christian received his REX badge.
