Mike Graham shared a message on his X account on Monday (November 10) after being absent from TalkTV following an alleged "racist" post to his Facebook page, which he insisted was a result of being hacked. The journalist, 65, found himself suspended from his breakfast show, Morning Glory, after a picture of a statue of Churchill alongside a picture of a crowded Tube carriage, with the caption: "Tell me we're not f***ed by multicultural b***cks."
He shared in an emotional video on his X page: "I just want to say thank you to all of you brilliant listeners and viewers who have sent me some of the most brilliant messages of support over the past couple of weeks. I really appreciate it. I've read every single one. They really give me great encouragement.
Graham added: "I also wanted to give a personal apology about having to cancel the show at the Shepherd Bush Empire this week, but don't worry, it will be back next May."
Immediately, comments from Graham's loyal fans came pouring in, as one typed: Hopefully, this means you will be back soon, and it can't come soon enough. You are needed right now more than ever. This is no criticism of all the people who have taken over your show and plank of the week, but it just isn't the same without you, big fella "
A second remarked: "I miss you on Plank of the Week! It used to be my favourite show of the week. I haven't watched it since you left. Will you be coming back to this show as well?"
On Monday, the host of the Plank of the Week podcast wrote on his X account: "On Sunday night my Facebook was accessed and a vile message was posted on my page without my knowledge.
"It contained words that I would never write and an opinion I don't share. As soon as I found out I immediately deleted the post and have taken steps to ensure my cyber security."
Social media users were not convinced, pointing to the similar post on X, formerly Twitter, by Graham moments earlier.
In that post he shared the photo of the Westminster statue of Churchill, writing: "Britain today. Why are we here."
Graham was suspended from his breakfast show on Talk, formerly TalkTV, and was replaced by Jeremy Kyle.
