and will clash in a 'Battle of the Bonuses' in the second round of the on Sunday. It could be an expensive match for snooker bosses with world No.1 Trump two century breaks away from a £100,000 windfall whilst Murphy is gunning for a £147,000 payday for making a second maximum 147 in the Triple Crown majors this season.

It would be only the third time in history, Neil Robertson (2013-14) and Trump himself (2019-20), that a player has made 100 centuries in a season if second seed Trump hits the landmark. Murphy, champion in 2005, quipped: "They've got plenty of dough haven't they?

"I don't think anybody at World Snooker is worried about where their next sandwich is coming from. They've got plenty of money to give away.

"It would be great if both of us could do it. If a chance at the 147 pops its head out I'll go for it because I'm well aware of the prize that is floating around.

"I'm sure Judd is trying to make as many centuries as he possibly can as well."

Trump's is firmly focused on proving his critics wrong by becoming a multiple world champion. The Bristol ace has won his last seven meetings with Murphy and said: "I'd pay £100,000 to be in the quarter-finals.

"If I won it, made the 100 centuries and made a max in the final I'd be happy."
