Emmerdale fans think they have worked out the mystery person Caleb Milligan (played by Will Ash) was speaking to on the phone.
During the latest episode of the ITV drama, things finally came to a head with the Dingle/Milligan clan. Moira (played by Natalie J Robb) was faced with making a life-changing decision about her tumour, which sent Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) into a frenzy.
Doctors told the farmer she could have surgery now, or wait to see if things improve with medication. And while Cain tried to convince his wife to have the surgery, Moira was adamant she didn't want it right now.
And much to Cain's horror, Moira ended up calling him her son Adam's name at the end of the episode, so could things be a lot worse than they originally feared?
Elsewhere, Ruby Milligan (Beth Cordingly) felt neglected by her husband Caleb as he seemed more occupied with work calls. However, towards the end of the episode, things took an unexpected turn when Caleb threatened to kill the person on the other end of the phone - but who could it be?
"Will you stop calling?" Caleb fumed to the mystery person. "I'll protect Ruby from you with everything that I have for, are you listening to me?"
"You're a liar," he fumed before adding: "Alright tomorrow, I will be there if only to put you six feet under myself."
Fans were quick to take to social media to share their thoughts and theories, with many suggesting Caleb was speaking to Ruby's mother.
"Ooh, who's that on the phone pestering Caleb...," one fan asked while another echoed: "Who's Caleb talking to on the phone? #Emmerdale."

"Rose I think..," a third suggested while someone else said: "And to top it all Ruby's mum is harassing Caleb!"
"Caleb on the phone to the mother-in-law #Emmerdale," another agreed.
A sixth went on: "Caleb will be speaking to Ruby's mother who is due to appear fairly soon! #Emmerdale."
Meanwhile, Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) was left reeling after she received a text message from Nate (Jurell Carter).
He told her he was trying to settle into life in Shetland, but warned her not to call him until he contacted her.
Is it really Nate who is texting his ex, or could it be someone imitating him?
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
