One segment featured art expert Frances, who gushed over a pair of oil paintings by a beloved female artist. Discussing the landscape pieces, the Antiques Roadshow star began by saying she was "really excited".
"Because they are unmistakably by Nora McGuinness - probably Derry's most famous 20th century artist," she continued. "Both oil on canvas and when you stand back you see the bold combinations of colours."
"When you see them together, you can kind of understand why she was chosen to represent Ireland at the Venice Biennale in 1950. It was the first time Ireland had ever shown there and I think it says quite a lot about her and how avant-garde she was."
After discovering one of the women once knew Nora's sister personally, she questioned how much the "special" paintings had been purchased for.
One of the guests pointed to the painting on France's right and admitted she'd bought it for around £120.
A sticker on the back of the left-hand image claimed it had been £600 at the point of sale.
After discovering their price tags Frances delivered an astonishing evaluation to her guests.
Pointing to the painting on her left, she said: "Today at auction I'd put a value of about £8,000 to £12,000 on this one."
"And on this one," Frances continued pointing to the second painting. "I would say £6,000 to £8,000."
"So, not too bad for just something you spotted awhile ago."
"That's good. That's brilliant," replied the guest before her companion joked: "Which one is mine?"
Modern art expert Frances made her debut on Antiques Roadshow back in 2015.
During her time on the long-running show, she has valued paintings by Boscoe Holder and L.S. Lowry.
Antiques Roadshow is available to watch on iPlayer.
