The eastbound carriageway of the is still closed more than 15 hours after a horror left one person dead and three people seriously injured. A lorry driver has been arrested and remains in custody. Emergency services were called to the scene near Horningsea just before 9.30pm on Tuesday, during which one vehicle burst into flames.
A person in a car died and three others suffered serious injuries in the collision. A 38-year-old lorry driver from Cambridge has been on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Cambridgeshire Police say a complex investigation is under way and the road may not reopen before early afternoon.
