Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has released notification for recruitment to the posts of Sub Inspector, Subedar and Platoon Commander. The online application process for this recruitment will start on October 23, 2024 and the last date is November 21, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online till this date.

Eligibility & Criteria:  Educational Qualification: For Subedar, Sub Inspector (SI), Sub Inspector (Special Branch), and Platoon Commander posts, the candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university.

For Sub Inspector (Fingerprint & Documents in Question), candidate must possess Graduation in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or BCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science).

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 21 and 28 years. Age relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates. Age will be calculated as on 1st January 2024.

A total of 341 posts will be recruited under this recruitment, out of which:

Subedar: 19 posts Sub Inspector (SI): 278 posts Sub Inspector (Special Branch): 11 posts Platoon Commander: 14 posts Sub Inspector (Finger Print): 4 posts Sub Inspector (Document in Question): 1 post Sub Inspector (Computer): 5 posts Sub Inspector (Cyber Crime): 9 posts

How to apply?:  Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of CGPSC, psc.cg.gov.in. Keep in mind that applications will be accepted only through online mode.

Selection Process: Candidates will first have to appear for a written exam. Candidates who qualify this exam will be called for physical efficiency test and interview. For more information, candidates can visit the official website and see the notification.
