What is the truth about black magic and how people are dying?

Recently, a shocking incident has come to light from Hathras in Uttar Pradesh, where an innocent 11-year-old child was killed due to black magic. This incident has become a matter of serious concern for the society, because even in today's modern era, innocent people are being sacrificed due to witchcraft and superstition.

Hathras incident

The body of an 11-year-old child studying in DL Public School of Hathras was found in the car of the school manager. Police have arrested five people in this murder case, including the school manager Dinesh Baghel and his father Yashodan. Investigation revealed that Dinesh's father Yashodan was a Tantrik and he had decided to sacrifice the child to get rid of the debt and to progress the school.

Figures of black magic and human sacrifice

According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), in the year 2022, 8 cases of human sacrifice were reported across the country. If we talk about previous years, 111 such incidents were registered from 2014 to 2022. These are only those cases in which human sacrifice was done. Apart from this, there are many such cases in which people are killed on the basis of witchcraft or suspicion.

Statistics of deaths due to black magic

According to NCRB data, 85 people lost their lives due to witchcraft in 2022, while this number was 68 in 2021. Between 2013 and 2022, a total of 1064 people lost their lives due to witchcraft. Especially cases of killing women by calling them witches are more common. The number of such cases is high in states like Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand, where women are killed by calling them witches due to superstition.

This incident and statistics clearly show that even today innocent people are losing their lives due to witchcraft and superstition. There is a dire need for awareness in the society so that such evils and superstitions can be curbed.
