IndiGo has unveiled its expanded winter schedule, launching eight new flights and resuming operations on several key routes, aiming to improve connectivity to East and North-East India.
Starting from October 29, 2024, the airline will introduce flights between Agartala and Dibrugarh, operating three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This new service will enhance travel options between the two cities in the region.
Additionally, IndiGo will begin direct flights between Guwahati and Dimapur and resume daily flights between Guwahati and Ahmedabad, effective December 10, 2024. These moves are expected to improve regional connectivity and provide more convenient travel for passengers in the North-East.
In a bid to strengthen its international reach, IndiGo will also increase its frequency on the Kolkata-Bangkok route. Starting November 24, 2024, this popular route will operate four times a week—on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays—offering greater flexibility for travelers between Kolkata and Bangkok, a key destination for both business and leisure.
“We are pleased to announce these new routes as part of our winter schedule. There’s a surge in demand, and these additions will strengthen regional connectivity, boost economic growth, tourism, and cultural exchange,” said Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo. “We remain committed to providing affordable fares, on-time performance, courteous service, and a hassle-free travel experience across our network.”
These new flights and increased frequencies are part of IndiGo’s strategy to expand its network and offer more travel options to passengers across India and internationally.
