Recently, there have been reports of adulteration in the prasad of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), which has hurt the sentiments of the devotees. Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan has expressed his concern on this matter. He said that this is not the time for politics or allegations and counter-allegations, but to pay attention to this sensitive issue.

Accusations against YSRCP government: Pawan Kalyan criticized the YSRCP government of Andhra Pradesh and said that when the TTD board was formed during the reign of this government, many changes were made in the system of worship in temples. He also said that Srivari Trust was established and tickets of Rs 10,000 were also issued.

Allegation of adulteration in Prasad: Pawan Kalyan said that there were complaints of adulteration in Tirupati Prasad earlier also, but the level of adulteration that has been reported this time is shocking. He expressed grief that animal fat and fish oil were mixed in one lakh laddus sent for Ram temple, which has hurt the sentiments of the devotees.

Demand for CBI investigation: Pawan Kalyan has demanded the TTD board to take full responsibility in this matter. He said that if needed, a CBI inquiry should be conducted in this matter. He also raised the question that if the same situation had happened in a church or mosque, would Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy have accepted it so easily?
