The victim saved her honour by running away from home in a half naked state. The police have registered a case and started searching for the accused. The teacher, originally from Auraiya, lives with her brother in a rented room in Damodarnagar. According to the teacher, on Tuesday evening around 6:30 pm, she had gone to teach tuition to a child living at some distance from her house.

During this time, Vaibhav, a friend of one of her friends, came on a scooter with one of his friends and started pressuring her to talk to him. He said, my friend is angry with me. She is coming home, you come with me and make her talk to him. At first she tried to avoid it, but when Vaibhav stood blocking the way.

Clothes were forcibly removed
On this, the teacher sat with both of them on the scooty and came to her house located near Ram Janaki temple. The young man sitting with her went somewhere else while Vaibhav took her inside the house and forcibly removed her clothes while trying to rape her.

The girl pushed Vaibhav and came out of the house in a semi-nude state with her clothes in her hand and wore her clothes with the help of a woman standing at a nearby shop and called her brother from her phone and informed him. Meanwhile, the police reached after getting information about the incident. However, Vaibhav fled before they could reach.

The victim told that when she did not find her friend inside the house and questioned him, the accused said that he would come after some time. Meanwhile, the accused came with a bottle of liquor and a glass and said drink two sips. When she refused, he started abusing her. Also, when she protested, he beat her and then tried to rape her. When she picked up the phone to call for help, the accused slammed it and broke it.

The girl is not giving her statement in front of the magistrate

ACP Naubasta Manjay Singh said that on the complaint of the teacher, a report has been registered against the accused Vaibhav Verma and another. A team has been set up to search for both the accused. However, the teacher has refused to record her statement in front of the magistrate.

Vaibhav Verma, the accused of trying to rape the teacher, has been quarrelsome from the beginning. Due to his bad behavior, the teacher's friend had stopped talking and socializing with the accused. The accused had taken the teacher to his house on the pretext of restarting the stopped conversation.

After the case of attempted rape came to light, the police also called the friend for questioning. The friend told that Vaibhav had misbehaved with many girls other than her. Because at the time of the incident her parents were not present at home.
