It is being said that this incident happened in the studio of a private channel in Noida and now the video of the incident has gone viral. SP leader Mohit Nagar has slapped him and this has enraged his supporters. A criminal case has been registered against Muslim religious leader Maulana Sajid Rashidi and this has created a ruckus.

What is the whole matter

Rashidi had commented on Dimple's recent visit to a mosque with her husband and Kannauj MP Akhilesh Yadav and other SP MPs. The maulana had made some derogatory remarks against the Mainpuri MP during a recent television debate. In the complaint filed by resident Pravesh Yadav, Rashidi has been accused of not only making derogatory and anti-women statements but also making extremely provocative and inciting religious animosity and communal tension.
