The much-awaited Bhojpuri film Hamaar Naam Ba Kanhaiya, starring popular actor Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirahua), hit theaters on July 4. The film has gained significant attention, with promotions supported not only by Nirahua but also by many stars of the Bhojpuri industry, including Amrapali Dubey. The trailer of the film received a great response, creating buzz among the audience.
Meanwhile, Bhojpuri actor-singer Pradeep Pandey Chintu was also set to release his film Om on the same day. However, just a day before the scheduled release, Pradeep announced through a social media post that the film’s release would be postponed.
Pradeep Pandey wrote on Instagram, “Due to some technical reasons, Om will not release tomorrow, July 4. You will be informed soon about the new release date. Like you all, I am very excited for the film’s release in theaters. Thank you for your love, love you all.”
This sudden postponement led to various reactions from fans. Some speculated if Pradeep Pandey got “scared” of the massive release of Hamaar Naam Ba Kanhaiya and chose to back out. Others expressed their support, saying they will watch the film whenever it is released and are patiently waiting.
Though the trailer for Om has not yet been released, Pradeep shared posters showcasing the film’s intense action scenes. Directed by Sunil Majhi and produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Om promises to be an action-packed film, and fans eagerly await its new release date.
For now, audiences in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal can enjoy Hamaar Naam Ba Kanhaiya in theaters.
