Tesco's website went down this morning with frustrated customers unable to do their online shopping.

Outage tracker DownDetector shows the issues started around 8.30am this morning, with more than 1,200 people logging complaints about the Tesco website.

The technical glitch impacted both the Tesco website and app, but Tesco says the issue is now resolved. The supermarket did not reveal what caused the problem, but said its services were only "briefly" impacted.
