Taylor Swift makes subtle sign of support for Travis Kelce at Chiefs game after MTV EMAs rumours

Singer-songwriter has been spotted at 's latest game in amid some fans hoping that she will be at in .

Taylor, 34, was seen arriving at Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri on Sunday to support home team , whom her partner Travis, 35, plays for. She sported the team's signature red as part of her outfit for the game. She was seen wearing a black corset with a co-ordinated red jacket and skirt. She accompanied the ensemble with a pair of black boots.

She was joined by her parents Andrea Swift and Scott Swift at the stadium in Kansas City for Travis' game against . Travis had already arrived at the venue, wearing a red jacket, white t-shirt and jeans.

Taylor's appearance at the game comes ahead of the MTV Europe Music Awards (MTV EMAs) in the UK. The awards ceremony - hosted by - is being held at the Live in Manchester this year. Taylor is the most nominated act at this year's ceremony, with seven nominations. There was some speculation that Taylor would be in attendance and could announce Reputation (Taylor's Version).

Her attendance at Travis' latest game however suggests she won't be at the MTV EMAs, which is taking place the evening of the game. One fan tweeted: "So Taylor's not going to the EMAs??????? Wow." Another teased: "Taylor why are you at the chiefs game ur supposed to be announcing rep tv at the emas in a couple hours." Another wrote: "wait if Taylor’s at the game is she not going to the emas?" Someone said: "Not me on the way to the EMAs with all my taylor merch and she’s in the US."

Alongside a broken heart emoji, another fan tweeted: "On my way to the emas, which of course it's clear now Taylor isn't attending." Someone said: "Obviously Taylor isn’t at the EMAs tonight but there was a chance. [...] All the swifties going are still representing Taylor." Another wrote: "I'm sad that Taylor isn't at the emas but I'm still gonna have so much fun."

Taylor is nominated for six awards at this year's MTV EMAs, in categories including Best Artist, Best Live, Best Pop and Biggest Fans. She's also up for Best Collaboration, over featuring Post Malone on her song Fortnight, and the music video is nominated for Best Video.

The MTV EMAs 2024 will broadcast at 9pm on MTV UK and Pluto TV, from 10pm on Channel 5 and will be available on demand on Paramount+ from November 12.
