hosts andare leaving the UK for the USA to present a different version of the breakfast show.
It was confirmed last week that the presenters are heading to Washington DC to cover the US election which are scheduled to be held on Tuesday (November 5) where the President and Vice President will be elected.
Confirming the show shake-up at the end of Monday's (November 4) episode: "Ed said: Susanna, grab your bags we're about to go." Susanna said: "Tune into Good Morning Britain tomorrow live from Washington."
Speaking to Radio Times,, Susanna said: "Ed Balls and I are flying straight out to Washington DC after hosting on Monday 4 November. We'll be soaking up the atmosphere. Then we’ll be on the ground, presenting the election results programme on the Wednesday morning."
During her decade-long run on , the 53-year-old host has appeared alongside a number of co-presenters including and Richard Madeley, and of late she has appeared on our screens next to Ed for the morning programme.
She continued: "It'll be one of those weeks where sleep takes a backseat. There are some stories where the adrenaline and cortisone just stream through your body".
Speaking about co-host Ed, she added: "He's steeped in politics, a political veteran even at his very young age. He's not just an expert on British politics – he’s a senior fellow at Harvard, so an expert on American politics, too. He'll bring an experienced eye to our coverage."
It comes after Susanna shared her stark views on Phillip Schofield's latest TV endeavour in a fresh and frank interview. The GMB anchor as not shy about her disinterest when she was quizzed whether she had caught her former ITV colleagues recent Channel 5 series, his first project since his high-profile departure from back in May last year.
Susanna responded: "I didn't watch it, and I don't know him." Her rather chilly comment reflects the swirling debate regarding Phillip's much-discussed exit from ITV following his acknowledgment of an affair with a younger colleague.
Phillip withdrew from the limelight after stepping down from his long-standing role in May 2023, only to re-emerge on the small screen with his Channel 5 adventure Cast Away in September.
