Emmerdale fans 'rumble' who's arrested for Tom King attack - but it's 'not Belle'

Emmerdale viewers believe Tom King will set up a villager over his recent attack after a sinister scene with wife Belle Dingle.

Ever since Belle dumped her abusive husband weeks ago he's been targeting her, with not everyone in the village believing her ordeal. Things came to a head last week when he tried to kill her, resulting in her wedging an axe in his back.

Tom survived and on Monday night he claimed he couldn't remember what happened. But it seems he has a dark plan for Belle, as he soon wasted no time in letting her know he knew what happened.

Despite claiming he had no memory he later threatened Belle to go visit him or he'd tell the police what really happened. With it not known if Belle will visit Tom and what he has planned, some fans are convinced it isn't her he will grass up to the police.

After a run-in with Belle's pal Vinny Dingle, and past jealousy from Tom about their friendship, some viewers think he faces trouble. Vinny had been the one to find Tom lifeless after the attack and declared he was dead, not calling for help.

So will Tom take a final revenge to get control of Belle and claim Vinny was the attacker amid a theory he actually did hurt Tom? One viewer suggested: "Toms going to blame Vinnie," as another said: "Tell me he’s not going to accuse one of the Dingle men, just to try and hurt Belle & her family more."

Another fan posted: "If he blames Vinny then Belle will own up." It comes as Amelia Spencer actress Daisy Campbell exclusively told The Mirror there was more drama ahead, and she hoped for a twist with her character.

Speaking to the Mirror at the Inside Soap Awards on Monday evening, actress Daisy said: "Oh I want her to team up with Belle! I'm reading the scripts and I'm like, 'Come on, you've got to pull through for Belle'. So hopefully we'll see some of that."

Explaining Amelia's thought process, Daisy explains: "She's not seeing it right now because he's an older man - you know what it's like when you're younger and you're dating someone who's two years older than you and you're like 'Oh my god!' But she sees him as a man and someone who can protect her so she's not really seeing that abusive side. I think he's got to tread carefully because he doesn't want to get Amelia to realise because Amelia's the only one on his side right now."

So will Amelia be in danger? "I wouldn't say she's in danger but keep watching because it's a soap! There's always twists and turns. But for now she's under his wing unfortunately. I mean, I love working with James [Chase] but his character Tom has where he wants her and at the moment it's that kind of manipulation stage and that's what we do so well."
