Crystal Palace vs Liverpool was delayed in the first half following a medical emergency in the stands at Selhurst Park.
Palace took the lead when Ismaila Sarr turned in from an early corner. But as Liverpool lined up to take a free-kick on the edge of the Palace area, the game was suspended in the 14th minute.
Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai and Palace defender Daniel Munoz were key in getting the referee to halt proceedings. Medical staff were quick to rush across the pitch to the stands to give attention to a supporter.
Crystal Palace posted on X: "There has been a break in play due to an incident in the crowd. Our thoughts are with all those involved." Commentators described a 'medical emergency' unfolding among the home supporters.

The game was suspended for around seven minutes. The crowd reacted with a round of applause for the medical staff and the match resumed with Liverpool going close from the free-kick.
Medical staff from both Palace and Liverpool attended to the ill supporter.
The break did not stop Palace's momentum as they then peppered Alisson Becker's goal with shots. The Liverpool keeper had to be alert to keep out efforts from Munoz and Jean-Philippe Mateta to keep the score at 1-0.
Liverpool came into the match with a perfect record in the Premier League, having won all five of their games under Arne Slot. Palace are unbeaten under Oliver Glasner in the league.
In the 37th minute there was another brief delay after the referee was made aware of another issue from the stands at Selhurst Park. But this time he was content for the game to continue and Ibrahima Konate nearly scored for Liverpool from the resulting corner.
There were 10 minutes of added time at the end of the first half, with Palace going into the break 1-0 up, having dominated proceedings.
