Trailing behind her is amputee footballer Thomas Atkinson with odds of 5/1, followed by Aesthetician Emma Morgan at 6/1 and Sales Manager Khaled Khaled at 7/1.

Nathan King, Ryan Bradshaw and Sarah Griffiths are currently considered outsiders to win the series, with odds of 20/1, 25/1 and 25/1 respectively.

William Hill spokesperson, Lee Phelps, commented: "Lily Benson's fun and energetic personality has quickly won over the public, making her the early favourite after the first episode of Big Brother Season 26.

"Former butler to King Charles III, Nathan King has been making waves in the press, but the public are yet to take a shine to the Pork Salesman from Dumfries, who is currently an outsider at 20/1."

"Trailing behind in the betting stakes, Marketing and Events worker Ryan Bradshaw and Spa account manager Sarah Griffiths have failed to garner the same level of interest, both finding themselves at 25/1 after last night's episode."

The launch night saw the housemates split into either a blue or red section before Big Brother dropped the bombshell that those on the red side were not official housemates and were being sent to storage.

They were also hit with the devastating news that they would be up for the first public vote for eviction.

In Monday night's episode, non-housemate Martha went head-to-head with housemate Ryan for a place in the house.

Big Brother announced: "Non-housemates, you must challenge and then beat one Housemate in a brutal head-to-head battle."

"If you win, you'll enter the house as a superior Housemate. Which one of you is the best game player in order to take on the first head-to-head."

Martha triumphed in the task and was promoted to housemate status while Ryan was downgraded to a non-housemate.

Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
