Apple 'messed up' as people have one complaint about new iPhone 17 Pro

After Apple released their new lines of iPhones, several people have criticised the company for not adding one detail to the new iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, which have some claiming they'll ditch the company for a Samsung phone.

On Tuesday, 9 September, Appleorganised a major launch event where they announced their new range of products, including the highly anticipated iPhone17 and iPhone 17 Pro, which both come in a bigger Max model. They also revealed the new iPhone Air, which is the thinnest phone that the company has released to date. While both the standard iPhone 17 and iPhone Air will be available in the normal lighter metal and pastel colours, the iPhone 17 Pro will only be available in navy, silver, and orange, which some people are now saying is a 'big mistake' by the company.

One woman named Katlynn Nelson decided to take to TikTok to share her thoughts about the new iPhone models, saying the company 'messed up' with one detail.

"Apple, you messed up when you launched navy, orange, and silver as the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max colours," Katlynn said at the start of her TikTok video.

She went on to say: "Wanna know who wants the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max? Women, if they haven't already switched over to the Samsung little flippy phone that's pink and cute. Those are the ones that wants a cute iPhone.

"Do you wanna know what you are doing? Pushing them over to Samsung," she said, claiming that she'd seen more and more women ditch Apple for Samsung's flip model phones that come in 'cuter' colours, including pink and pastel purple and green.

Katlynn went on to argue that it's women that are likely to pay extra to get the pro models of the new iPhone, arguing that they want the better camera, video, and upgraded screen in order to make 'cute' content. Because of this, they are less likely to get the new iPhone Air, which come in the 'cuter' colours she claim women want.

"Will my dad probably get the orange or navy iPhone 17 Pro? Probably. But do you wanna know who will pay extra for the Pro for the better camera? Women. Do you want to know what women do not want? Orange, navy and silver," she said, referring to the three colours that the iPhone 17 Pro models come in.

"We want the Air colours in the Pro model, why is that so hard?" she said at the end of the video.

Katlynn isn't the only person with these thoughts, as thousands of people took to the comment section of her video, with many agreeing with what she had to say,

"What happened to white, black, silver, gold ????" one viewer asked, while another person said: "People saying they just cover it with a case have never had the satisfaction of a pink, mint, or lavender phone with a clear glitter case."

"Pink!!! All I want is Pink!! But not baby pink, pink pink! Why is it so hard for them to do???" another person wrote.

Someone else said: "As a marketer, I would love to see the research that went into this decision."

However, not everyone agreed with what Katlynn had to say, as one person said: "As a female, I was lowkey excited to see the orange color."

"I’m a woman and it doesn’t matter what color it is because I’m putting a cute case on it," another person said.

A third person said: "I mean, I don’t love the orange, but the other colors are great as a woman in tech. Maybe I’m an outlier, but I don’t need everything I own to be pink."
