The beloved series All Creatures Great and Small returns to Channel 5 tonight with an episode titled 'Captain Farnon?', which pays tribute to the fallen soldiers of the war in a memorial service held in Darrowby.
Tristan Farnon, portrayed by Callum Woodhouse, struggles to keep his emotions in check and is eager to share a pint with his brother Siegfried, played by Samuel West.
However, he finds himself at the bottom of his brother's list of priorities, whether intentional or not.
In other developments, James Herriot, brought to life by Nicholas Ralph, encourages Mrs Pumphrey, played by Patricia Hodge, not to lose hope in her search for a suitable mate for Tricki.

Charlotte Beauvoir is portrayed by Gaia Wise, who happens to be the daughter of renowned actress Emma Thompson.
Viewers will undoubtedly notice the striking family resemblance as Gaia is the spitting image of the Love Actually star.
The 25 year old actress has previously appeared in The Chelsea Detective and Silent Witness, and fans may also recognise her from Dead of Winter or A Walk in the Woods.
She also lent her voice to the character Hera in The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim.
General Beauvoir, Charlotte's father, is played by Jonathan Hyde, a seasoned actor at the age of 77.
The Australian actor is perhaps most recognised for his roles in Jumanji and The Mummy.
His television credits include appearances in The Strain, The Crown and Spooks.
He tied the knot with Scottish opera singer Isobel Buchanan in 1980, and they have two daughters, one of whom is actress Georgia King.
Philip Martin Brown, a 69 year old English actor, portrays Mr Bolton. He's best known for his role as English teacher Grantly Budgen in Waterloo Road.
Viewers might be intrigued to learn that he previously appeared in another adaptation of All Creatures Great and Small.
In 1988, he portrayed Jack Scott in two episodes of the series. More recently, he had a regular role in The Worst Witch series.
The actor is married to Pip Brown and they have two children.
