However, sometimes even after taking all precautions, some people become victims of heat stroke.

What is heatstroke?
Heatstroke occurs when the body temperature rises rapidly and the person is unable to cool down. This increased heat in the body damages the brain and other vital organs, due to which it can be fatal.
Why does heatstroke happen?
This can happen due to doing heavy activity in the heat or staying in a hot place for too long. Apart from this, heatstroke can also occur due to heat exhaustion .
Symptoms of heatstroke- a fever of 104 °F (40 °C) or higher
- Confusion, restlessness, and difficulty speaking
- Dry skin or excessive sweating
- nausea and vomiting
- Redness of the skin
- rapid pulse
- Rapid breathing
- Headache
- unconsciousness
- Seizure outbreak
- Coma
If a person becomes a victim of heatstroke, keep the following things in mind and give them this treatment as first aid-
- Place the person in a tub of cool water or a cool shower.
- Pipe it onto the person.
- Sponge the person with cool water.
- Place an ice pack or cold, wet towel on the neck, armpits, and groin.
- Cover the person with a cool, wet sheet.
- If the person is conscious, give him or her cool water, electrolyte-rich drinks, or another non-alcoholic beverage without caffeine.
- If the person is unconscious and shows no signs of breathing, coughing, or moving, begin CPR.
