Delhi Police has arrested a disabled boy for installing a spy camera in a student's room and bathroom. The boy's name is Karan. He had installed a spy camera in the bulb holder in the bedroom and bathroom of his tenant student.
The case is from Shakarpur in Delhi. According to the police, the victim student was preparing for UPSC and lived alone in a rented flat. Whenever she went home on vacation, she would give the keys of her flat to the landlord's son Karan. Karan, seeing an opportunity, had fitted two cameras inside the bulb holders in the victim's flat about 3 months ago.
According to DCP Apoorva Gupta , some time ago a woman saw a spy camera in the bulb holder of the bathroom of her flat and called the police. Actually the student first got suspicious when she was checking her Whatsapp, from there she found out that her account was open on someone else's laptop. After this she searched the house and found a spy camera in the bulb holder in the bathroom.
The girl used to give the keys of the room to the accusedWhen the police asked the student that who else has entry in the house besides her, the student told that whenever she goes out somewhere, she gives the keys of this flat to her landlord's son Karan.
After this, when Delhi Police interrogated and investigated Karan, he confessed his crime. Police found a spy camera from Karan and also two laptops in which he used to store recorded videos. Actually, the spy cams that Karan had installed in the student's house were not connected to remote or online, so Karan tried to get the keys of the flat from the girl on some pretext or the other so that he could transfer the data present in the chip.
