Mumbai: A potential tragedy was narrowly avoided at Bangur Nagar Metro Station on Metro Line 2A (DN Nagar to Dahisar) when a 2-year-old child accidentally stepped out of a train alone just as the doors were closing on Monday.
Station Attendant Sanket Chodankar handled the situation swiftly by bringing the situation under control within seconds. Spotting the child, Sanket immediately alerted the train operator to reopen the doors and rushed to the platform to ensure the child’s safety.
