Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandya was engaged in an animated chat with his brother and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) all-rounder Krunal Pandya following the IPL 2025 match at the Wankhede Stadium. In a video surfaced on social media, the duo were seen sitting on the ground and chatting about what seemed like what happened in the game.
The brothers were up against each other on Monday in an epic encounter but Hardik's side ended up losing the contest by 12 runs. Krunal played a vital role in breaching Mumbai Indians' fortress as he defended 19 runs off the final over and took three wickets, dismissing Naman Dhir, Mitchell Santner and Deepak Chahar to finish with figures of 4-0-45-3.

"You can stop the batters, but I don't want to be harsh on the bowlers" - Hardik Pandya
At the post-match presentation, Pandya admitted that the wicket was quite good to bat on but felt the home side gave away slightly more runs than they would have wanted. The seam-bowling all-rounder, who took two wickets, said:
"It was a run-fest. The wicket was really good. I was just talking about that to myself. We fell short with two hits, don't know what to say. The way the wicket was, the bowlers did not really have much space to hide. It came down to execution. You can stop the batters, but I don't want to be harsh on the bowlers. It was a tough track, not much options. 5-10, maybe 12 runs I can say (we conceded more)."
Mumbai Indians have now lost four matches out of five and will need something special to stage a comeback in the tournament.
