Ghaziabad: In a chilling incident, an overloaded truck overturned on a canal culvert near KR Inter College Sakalpur in Ghaziabad's Loni on Tuesday. The truck carrying goods for a brick kiln met with an accident. The truck driver jumped out and escaped, but the conductor sitting inside the truck got stuck. Both his legs got pressed under the truck, due to which he got seriously injured.

The conductor can be seen folding his hands and pleading in front of the police to get himself out. In the video, it can be seen that the truck overturned at the edge of a canal. However, in such a tense situation also the man can be seen carrying a smile on his face.

As soon as the news of the accident was received, villagers rushed to the spot and immediately informed the police. Along with the police, the villagers called JCB and crane and started the rescue operation. After about two hours of efforts, the injured was taken out. After this, he was admitted to the nearest hospital with the help of the police, where his condition remains critical.
Reportedly, the police is investigating the matter and trying to find out how much the truck was overloaded and whether it had all the necessary permits.
