Mumbai: A bizarre traffic incident from Mumbai’s western suburbs triggered outrage on social media after a video went viral showing a car parked right in the middle of a busy road, causing a traffic snarl, with a dog seated calmly in the driver’s seat.

The incident reportedly occurred on Lokhandwala Market Road in Andheri West. In a video shared by the Andheri Lokhandwala & Oshiwara Citizens' Organisation, a red Honda Brio hatchback can be seen parked in broad daylight in the centre of the road, blocking an entire lane and bringing traffic to a complete standstill. A BEST bus, unable to proceed, is seen stuck directly behind the car, along with several other vehicles.

But in a surprising turn of events, the video shows a Siberian Husky dog sitting quietly in the driver's seat of the parked vehicle. The dog, believed to be the owner’s pet, appears unbothered by the chaos it’s indirectly causing.

The citizen group captioned the video, “Car parked right in middle of Lokhandwala Market road causing major inconvenience, traffic jams.. snarl,” and tagged the Mumbai Traffic Police on X (formerly Twitter), seeking action. Responding to the post, Mumbai Traffic Police replied, “Request you to provide the full address,” indicating that they were taking note of the matter.
