Indore (Madhya Pradesh): “Came to Indore, ate poha and received so much love,” said actor Tusshar Kapoor as he greeted fans in the city on Friday during the promotional event for his upcoming horror-comedy film Kapkapiii.
With his signature wit and warmth, Tusshar praised Indore’s hospitality, lively vibe and the genuine affection he received from its people.
The actor, accompanied by his co-stars and crew, shared behind-the-scenes moments from the film’s shoot, much of which took place in Indore and Bhopal. He even spoke about spiritual visits to Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar, saying, “Whenever I come here, even if it is not for a shoot, I’m always invited for something special—it feels like a blessing.”
Kapkapiii is a quirky tale of educated but unemployed youths whose lives take a spooky turn when a mysterious spirit enters the picture. “There’s fear, but fun too,” Tusshar said, adding that the film was meant to be enjoyed with friends and family in the theatre, not on OTT platforms. “Don’t wait for OTT. Watch it on the big screen!” he insisted.
Speaking about the film’s essence, Tusshar said it reflected the madness of college life and strong friendships, adding, “What we lived is what we’ve shown on screen.” As for travel mishaps, like a stalled car and luggage issues, Tusshar laughed them off, saying, “Sometimes I wonder if someone cast a spell on us!” The event wrapped up with loud cheers, selfies and promises from Indore fans to catch Kapkapiii in theatres soon.
