According to the Panchang, on 12 April 2025, the moonrise on Chaitra Purnima will be at 6:18 pm. Hasta Nakshatra is being formed on this date, which will remain till 6:07 pm. During this time, Vyaghat Yoga will also be formed, which will last till 8:39 pm.
Puja method
On the day of Chaitra Purnima, you should take a bath in the holy river in the morning.
If you cannot take a bath in a holy river, then you can take a bath at home by adding Gangajal to the water.
After this, take a stool and install the idol of Lord Vishnu on it.
Now anoint the Lord with Gangajal.
Offer flowers, sweets and light a ghee lamp.
Chant the mantras of Lord Vishnu.
