Elon Musk's Starlink is experiencing a service outage, according to a message on its website on Monday. By 9:57, Downdetector had recorded nearly 40,000 outage reports.
Most of the reported problems included 60% related to internet issues, 39% citing a total blackout, and 1% complaining of poor service.
"Starlink is currently experiencing a service outage. Our team is investigating," Starlink said, without providing further details.
Users across different regions reported disruptions, with some saying the service was down for several minutes while others experienced outages lasting more than 20 minutes. Reports came in from the United States, including Virginia, Louisiana, Indiana, and Washington state, as well as international locations such as Colombia. Some users also noted that connectivity was restored after brief interruptions.
