New Delhi: Hospitality has emerged as a key focus area for managed workspace providers, with businesses demanding hotel-like amenities for their employees, ranging from concierge support and bespoke workplaces to celebrating team achievements and personal anniversaries, with providers handling every detail.
Managed workspace companies have grown with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 70% over the period 2018 to 2023, outstripping the growth of traditional co-working spaces.
"The core advantage of managed workspace providers has always been the combination of flexibility, quality, and service. However, with the rapid growth of the managed workspace sector, both the service experience and the quality of fit-outs have often been compromised," said Vibhor Jain, founder and CEO, Carbon Guardians, a company providing managed office spaces. "With the increasing influx of Global Capability Centres (GCCs) into India, there will be a growing demand for workspace providers who can deliver hospitality-grade service standards and high-quality fit-outs, while retaining the flexibility that modern occupiers seek," Jain said.
The segment's strong growth is credited to its capacity to provide bespoke office spaces, comprehensive vendor management, and integrated technological services that meet the changing needs of modern enterprises.
"In a world where flexibility is a given, it's the human experience that creates true stickiness. We have started Offitels to capture this shift - spaces that combine the service culture of a five-star hotel with the professionalism of premium offices", said Monaah M Shuklla, CEO, CorporatEdge, which recently raised ₹100 crore from Carpediem Capital.
