Important Rituals for Kanya PujanOn the day of Kanya Pujan, respectfully invite young girls to your home, and also invite a young boy (Langura). Wash their feet with reverence, perform the pujan, and then serve them a meal. Finally, offer them gifts and Dakshina (monetary offerings), while chanting praises of Maa Durga. During Ashtami and Navami, it is also recommended to chant the Durga Stuti Mantra to receive Maa Durga’s blessings.
