Tata Motors has launched the updated version of its best-selling SUV , the Tata Punch , with a revised lineup and updated features. Priced between Rs 6.12 lakh and Rs 9.90 lakh, ex-showroom, the model brings fresh options while simplifying the overall range along with the introduction of a host of new features.
2024 Tata Punch: New features
The 2024 Tata Punch comes equipped with the same 1.2-litre petrol engine , with the option of CNG as well. While the exterior design remains unchanged, key updates include a larger 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen (available from the mid-spec Accomplished+ variant), wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless phone charger, rear AC vents, and a front armrest.
The base model’s price has remained unchanged at Rs 6.13 lakh, while the top-spec variant’s price has seen a reduction of Rs 20,000, bringing it down to Rs 9.90 lakh. However, some variants in the lineup have received price hikes, with increments of up to Rs 15,000. Besides that, the company has introduced additional benefits of up to Rs 18,000 on the SUV, available for a limited time only.

In the new lineup, the company has introduced three new variants – Pure(O), Adventure S, and Adventure Plus S – while discontinuing the Pure Rhythm, Accomplished, Accomplished S, and Creative Flagship trims.
The model continues to be powered by its 1.2-litre, three-cylinder NA petrol engine, available with both five-speed manual and AMT transmission options. Additionally, a CNG variant is available, now offered in seven trim levels as opposed to five before.
