While it’s confirmed that Farhan Akhtar is set to direct and Ranveer Singh will step into the iconic role, speculation continues to swirl regarding the film’s female lead. With new names surfacing almost daily, fans are eagerly waiting for an official announcement to see who will join the high-octane franchise.
Earlier, buzz around Don 3 claimed that Sharvari Wagh had stepped in to replace Kiara Advani as the female lead. But now, fresh reports indicate yet another twist—Kriti Sanon has allegedly taken over the role, replacing Sharvari to star opposite Ranveer Singh. With constant reshuffling and no official announcement yet, the mystery around the film’s final cast only seems to be intensifying.

A source close to the development toldPinkvilla, “Farhan Akhtar and the creative team of Excel Entertainment were looking to cast an experienced actress with a screen presence on board Don 3, and Kriti Sanon fits the bill like hand in glove. She has the aura to play Roma on screen, and is excited to sign the dotted lines soon.”
The source added, “Don 3 will be shot largely in Europe and the locations are already closed. The script is also locked, and all that remains now is slight polishing alongside the action design. The pre-production work will go on for the next few months, and the team is aiming to take the film on floors by October/November 2025.”
Kriti Sanon’s upcoming projectsAfter her last theatrical success, Crew, Kriti Sanon will next be seen in Anand L Rai’s Tere Ishk Mein, opposite Dhanush.
She is also working on Cocktail 2 with Dinesh Vijan and Shahid Kapoor, which is slated to release next year.
Kriti also has two horror movies, Bhediya 2 and Nayi Naveli, in her pipeline.
