In fact, from May 1, if the free limit is crossed, an extra charge may have to be paid on every ATM transaction. The fee on cash withdrawal will increase from ₹ 17 to ₹ 19 per transaction. The balance check fee will now increase from ₹ 6 to ₹ 7 per transaction.

The new rule of the railways is going to affect ticket booking, fares, refund process etc. From May 1, waiting tickets will not be considered valid in sleeper or AC coaches. Travel can be done on waiting tickets only in general coaches. The advance reservation period has been reduced from 120 days to 60 days. Railways can also increase three major charges from May.
