PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme run by the Government of India, financial assistance of ₹ 6,000 is provided every year to crores of farmers across the country. This amount is given in three installments. ₹ 2,000 every four months. Now farmers are eagerly waiting for the 20th installment, which usually comes in June, but this time there has been some delay. Now the question in people's mind is when will the next installment come.
What is the installment date? (pm kisan 20th installment date)
The official date has not been announced by the government yet, but according to reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can release this installment in July 2025. The last i.e. 19th installment was sent to the farmers in February 2025.
Complete e-KYC (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana)
e-KYC can be done in three ways:
OTP based: Visit the website and enter the Aadhaar number and verify through OTP.
Biometric KYC: Visit the nearest CSC center and complete the process through fingerprint or iris scan.
Who is eligible?
The benefit of PM-Kisan Yojana is available only to those farmers who fulfill the conditions given below:
He should be a citizen of India.
He should have cultivable land.
He should be a marginal or small farmer.
He should not have filed income tax.
He should not receive pension of ₹ 10,000 or more.
He should not be an institutional landholder.
How much amount is received under PM Kisan Yojana and in how many installments?
Under this scheme, eligible farmers get financial assistance of ₹ 6,000 per year, which is sent directly to their bank account in three installments of ₹ 2,000.
Are all farmers eligible for this scheme?
No, not all farmers are eligible. Government employees, income tax payers, big farmers and institutional landholders cannot avail the benefits of this scheme. For eligibility, the farmer must have a valid record of the land.
By when can farmers get the 20th installment?
Farmers can register online by visiting the PM-KISAN portal (pmkisan.gov.in) themselves or through the Common Service Center (CSC). For this, Aadhaar card, land documents, and bank account information are required.
What to do if the installment does not come?
If a farmer has not received the installment, he can check the status by visiting the PM-KISAN portal. Also, he can contact his nearest CSC center or agriculture officer. Often the problem occurs due to KYC not being updated or error in the document.
