During a dinner outing with and Blake Lively, fans noticed Kelce's chivalrous actions, such as opening the car door for Swift and holding her close post-dinner. Swift's fans were quick to react, suggesting that Kelce was 'marriage material' for the singer.

However, on "Pardon My Take,", Aikman clarified his comment and expressed surprise at the attention it received, asking, "Was that a big deal," and "Was I on a tightrope right there? This morning, I woke up and saw a headline like, 'Aikman knew he was in trouble' or something and I was like, 'Gosh, if this is newsworthy... really? ".

Aikman dropped a bombshell, hinting at the possibility of a hush-hush engagement between Travis Kelce and : "I don't know if I cursed them or not, but somebody actually reached out to me today and said that they might be engaged - so, I might've broke the story," confessed the ESPN commentator.
